I had a strange day at work...

I work at a grocery store. And today I was supposed to lead a nice young blind girl around the store to shop. Well... I said and did some pretty funny/stupid stuff. First off, I took here over to the deli area to get her some lunch meat. She wanted some kind of variety lunch meat pack or something (I don't know I wasn't really paying attention). I looked all over for it- and couldn't find what she was looking for. Then, this blind chick starts felling around for this lunch meat- and I'm thinking- how in the hell is a blind person supposed to see this lunch meat package. And shes feeling all for all of the packages and goes here it is. She actually found it. And was like- "Your not really blind are you?" She laughed. And finally- I was taking here grocery's though the self checkout- and put all of here bags into the cart- and me- not thinking, said "would you like me to take you out to your car?" And she replied: "I can't drive, I'm blind." And I replied: "Sorry I'm an idiot." And my face turned red and she couldn't stop laughing. True story. And just ask anyone who knows me. I do stuff like this all of the time.
